SURFOU vs Full House Specs
Operating range
The SURFOU Wireless Doorbell offers a 1300-foot (400m) open-air range, designed to reach every room in large homes or workshops. Its stable signal resists interference from walls and other devices. The Full House model provides a 1000-foot (300m) range in open air, dropping to 150m if walls are present. Both systems ensure you hear visitors from distant rooms. SURFOU covers a wider distance, making it better for very large properties or outbuildings where signal strength is critical.
Chime options
SURFOU includes 55 classic ringtones with five volume levels up to 110dB. It also features a mute mode that silences audio while flashing an LED for visual alerts. You can pair different chimes to different buttons to identify specific doors. Full House offers 60 melodies with adjustable volume from 0dB to 110dB. It also includes a silent mode with LED flash. Both brands allow distinct tones for front and back doors. Full House provides slightly more melody choices, while SURFOU emphasizes clear identification of entry points.
Weather resistance
The SURFOU button is rated IP55, offering dustproof and waterproof protection. It operates in temperatures from -22°F to 158°F (-30°C to 70°C), handling rain, snow, and summer heat. Full House buttons are rated IP44 for waterproofing. This rating protects against splashing water but offers less dust protection than IP55. Both units are suitable for outdoor installation. SURFOU provides superior weather sealing and a wider operating temperature range, ensuring reliability in harsher climates.
Included hardware
SURFOU comes with one plug-in receiver and two battery-powered buttons. The package includes batteries, screws, adhesive stickers, and a mini screwdriver. Full House includes two push buttons and three plug-in receivers. Both kits use plug-in receivers that require no wiring. Full House provides more receivers in the base package, allowing you to place chimes in more rooms immediately. SURFOU requires purchasing additional receivers if you need more than one location.
Power source
SURFOU buttons are powered by a 12V 23A battery with ultra-low power draw. This allows the button to run for up to three years on a single battery. The receiver plugs into a standard outlet. Full House specifications list the power source as plug-in for the receiver, but do not specify the button battery type or lifespan in the provided data. SURFOU offers clear long-term battery efficiency, reducing maintenance frequency. Full House relies on standard plug-in power for the chime unit.
Choose Your Ideal Wireless Doorbell
You need maximum range for large properties
The SURFOU doorbell offers a 1300-foot open-air range, which exceeds the Full House model's 1000-foot limit. This extended reach ensures the signal resists interference from walls and other devices. You will receive alerts reliably in distant rooms, basements, or workshops without signal dropouts.
You want more chimes and receivers included
The Full House kit includes three plug-in receivers, whereas the SURFOU model comes with only one. You also get 60 melody options compared to SURFOU's 55. This setup allows you to place alerts in multiple rooms immediately without purchasing additional receivers separately for your home.
You prioritize battery life and weather resistance
The SURFOU button is IP55 rated, offering better dust and water protection than the Full House IP44 button. It runs on a 12V 23A battery that lasts up to three years. This reduces maintenance frequency, ensuring the device functions reliably in rain, snow, or extreme temperatures.
